Team Play Captain Duties (2022 Season – Gary Fox and Pat Shannon)
- Recommend for TPC approval an Assistant Captain for the upcoming season
- As per the player selection criteria initiate a qualification process to choose the players for the upcoming season ( Player Pool )
- When Player Pool is finalized provide a copy to the TPC for review and posting on the PVCC website.
- Along with input from the Assistant Captain choose the players for the scheduled matches, utilizing the player selection criteria
- Once players are chosen complete the pairings and submit to the host club as per the deadlines identified under the rules of the Desert Team Golf League
- Ensure best efforts are undertaken to have all players participate in the 2 match minimum
- Along with the Assistant Captain attend any scheduled meetings of the TPC
- Update and enter Team and Player results on the PVCC Men’s Club website after each match
